We’re kicking off the series with Amiri Studio, a luxury skin clinic where design and construction came together to create a space that feels calm, refined and timeless, a true reflection of the brand’s ethos.

The Vision

From the first conversation, the vision for Amiri Studio was clear: a space that embodied quiet luxury. Soft tones, natural materials and an atmosphere that immediately puts clients at ease.

The goal was to design a clinic that didn’t feel clinical. Instead, it needed to feel intentional, warm and reflective of the Amiri philosophy: where relaxation meets self-care.

Together with Caitlin - the owner of Amiri Studio, we explored layouts, finishes and textures that balanced elegance with functionality. Creating a studio that not only looked beautiful but supported the flow of both treatment and retail spaces.

The Process

Amiri Studio was a complete transformation. Working within an existing tenancy meant every measurement, junction and material choice mattered.

From demolition to detailed fit-out, precision was key. Our build team collaborated closely with the designer and client to ensure every element aligned, from the curved reception joinery and soft lighting to concealed storage that kept the space feeling open and uncluttered.

Timing was crucial, with the build scheduled around business operations and supplier lead times. Every decision was made with purpose ensuring the project stayed on schedule without compromising on craftsmanship.

The Details

The beauty of this project lies in the subtlety. Every finish was chosen to evoke calm; natural stone features, light oak textures, brushed brass accents and muted plaster tones that shift gently with the light throughout the day.

The curved walls and joinery soften the space, creating gentle movement from reception through to treatment rooms. Even the placement of lighting was carefully considered to highlight textures and create a soft, inviting glow.

The end result feels cohesive, elevated and timeless. Exactly what Amiri envisioned for their brand experience.

The Outcome

The completed Amiri Studio reflects the harmony between design and construction where every detail works together to create both aesthetic and function.

Since opening, the space has become an extension of the Amiri identity; modern, grounded and quietly luxurious. For REC, it’s a build that captures what we're is all about: collaboration, craftsmanship and a commitment to building spaces that feel right.
